Brand New Carbon Fiber Flat Bottom Steering Wheel for 350's and few others
SteelCyclone, I tried fixing your pic a bit. I also noticed that you have the CF door handle overlays. Where did you buy those and what brand? My OEM handles are getting pretty scratched up...
Often he is in another country though, give him a moment to message back.
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on this, esp. as I was almost ready to pay the same amount for a stock steering wheel with burnt orange leather.
Has anyone ordered one with other than black leather?
I have a half hide of burnt orange leather if they can't source it.
Don't want the leather that many companies ship as "burnt orange" that turns out to be tan or beige colored leather. I have got shift boots, ebrake boots and seat covers that all turned out to be tan leather.

You would likely be the first to request orange leather. I would recommend you trying to get them to sue your extra leather so that you know it will match for sure, however, Im not sure that they would be willing to do that.
should have pics of mine by the end of the week.
Flat top, flat bottom, no knuckle knurls, red stripe, red stitch, alcantara grip, carbon fiber switch panels as well.. and I have an appointment to have the OEM airbag reupholstered in alcantara and red stitch as well.

Im still trying to find a company to make me a custom gloss emblem as a horn button to match the vehicle livery.

it's quite intuitive and simple tbh.
Not sure offhand the torx size though.
(I bought my wheel used and will have to find my own hardware, torx will certainly NOT be what I choose lol. )

got mine prepared, shipping out to me soon.
DID the flat top as well as no knuckle knurls, and had the switch covers done too.
All of those features unfortunately are at additional cost of course.
Changed illum to white led also.
should be cool.
Having the airbag redone in matching alcantara.
Photo is potato quality, but the stitch is red as well. lol. Better pics soon.

um...... Wow! I love the switch plates done. I was on the fence, but
coming down on the switch plate side...
Did you ship them yours or did you find a loaner/donor pair? I also have buttons on both sides...
If we can just get one person to give up a donor pair, that'd be awesome. Otherwise I have to drive around with none for a while, which would be ok.
Thanks!

I bought them new from czp, since this wheel had no switches at all and was from a base 03-05
having the airbag upholstered and going w the carbon switch plates takes this 100 miles farther in overall quality and look imo.
Quotes for the airbag have been around 2-250... but if you don't mind having no stitch detail , a single piece of very low stretch synthetic suede fabric can easily be used to wrap it yourself, using proper technique and proper glue, of course.
I bought a 40 dollar tub of flexible plastic body filler off amazon ( u-pol 706 iirc) to knock down the center console texture, and to fill the logo indentation on the st wheel.

price is a bit different for this mod level, $895.00.. still far cheaper for a similar wheel.. I had seen the same done elsewhere for about 1295.
Very cool overall. This will be exactly what the car needed.
I'm actually using filer to smooth out the airbag logo area now, will reshape it and have it brought down to be covered in black alcantara and red stitch. ( I'm being quoted a few hundred dollars to do the airbag.. w me doing the smoothing work myself.)

fyi guys, tape off the grip material carefully and use some meguairs show glaze... or even just the regular series deep shine polish.. makes a HUGE difference in the finish quality of the carbon fiber. Follow up with their carnauba wax after.... you can do it by hand w a foam pad and microfiber cloth, no buff wheel required. Keep it deep and shiny as well as safe from the sun and scratches.
Dropped it off at the local high end stitch shop to have the airbag covered in alcanatara and red stich.. will have pics in July.. (I'm headed off on a trip for a few week soon. )
