Default Headlight issue

I have a 05 with OEM headlights. I swapped out the HIDs but the drivers side low beam won't turn on. I put that same headlight with the new setup on the passenger side and it works fine. my drivers side high beam turn on just fine just not the low beam. so I know its not the HID. what else can it be?

swap ballast from side to side, take the known working passenger side and put on the drivers side....see if it is that

If you swapped the d/s D2R bulb to the p/s and it lit up but it doesn't light up on the d/s, then it's likely the d/s ballast, connection at the harness, etc. Something is not right on the d/s.

The high beam is halogen and doesn't use the HID ballast that the low beam uses.

I swapped the bulb and the ballast. and both sets work on the passenger side but neither work on the drivers side.

Try inspecting the d/s harness for loose connections or try cleaning them if there are signs of corrosion with some contact cleaner like deoxit.

If that doesn't work, 1) check the voltage for the d/s headlamp input signal, 2) check the headlamp circuit for continuity, or 3) headlamp ground.

Refer to pages LT-29 and 30 of the FSM.

Try checking the 15A fuse located at No. 86 in the IPDM/ER. For some reason you're not getting a signal from terminal 30 that triggers the d/s HID to illuminate.

Here's a wiring schematic.
