Default Applying Nissan trunk emblem

I have a 2007 350Z roadster. I purchased a new trunk Nissan emblem. I would like to know the best way to apply it to my car. What to do prior to the application and exactly where it goes on the car (dimensions). Thanks

IIRC, the emblem has two pins on the back which insert into 2 small holes in the trunk. As far as what adhesive, I've always had great results with 3M weatherstripping and trim adhesive.

I think (not 100% sure) convertables do not have the emblem with the two pins.

I can confirm - the roadster center rear trunk emblem sits flush and lack the two pins that the coupes have. Or, at least that was the case on my '05. I doubt Nissan changed it, though.

+1 on 3m plastic emblem and trim adhesive.

As far as "prior application," I'm assuming you're referring to the OEM emblem that you're removing

I got a lot of the adhesive off with a heat gun and some paint-friendly solvents. I then polished to get any leftover lines off.
