Default Paint chipping

I have paint chipping on these small panels shown in the picture on my 2004 Enthusiast Roadster. What's the best way to repair that? Should I just order new parts to replace them or is that a pain to swap out? Is there a good DIY to fix this?

Haha well thank you captain obvious. I can see that. I'm asking if it makes more sense to scrape away all the chipped stuff, derust it and repaint it myself or if i should just get the whole part and swap it. I have little experience with body work so idk what a swap would entail, but i cant imagine that panel costs much since it's tiny.

Cmon man, you are a "premier member" and this is the contribution you have? I can find a website that sells body panels. If you don't have any helpful information in response to my questions, just don't respond. I'm not looking for sarcasm. You're wasting my time and I don't appreciate it.

I am looking for some information as to how to replace this part, what part is it, is there an alternative diy repaint since it is a small area, etc.

Maybe you are right that none of those are good options and I should take it to a body shop, but I'd like to know what those other solutions entail so I can come to that decision on my own.

alright... here is what i would do. buy a used one , have it prepped and painted (if this is your daily so it reduces downtime) you can get the part off ebay for anywhere from 140-ish to 300+. by looking at the pictures, it appears that there is going to be about 4 bolts where it pivots up towards the back of the car and then another 4 or so to the motor that makes it pop up. doesnt look too hard to me. i would rather do that instead of risking the rust coming back and you wasting the time and money

better?

I'll be honest i feel dumb that i couldn't find out which part that was. I didn't realize it was attached to the convertible top "trunk" lid
