Factory 350z color code San Marino Blue or Twilight Blue Metallic/Pearl
Sometime after buying my 07 Z I decided to take the carbon fiber wrap that was on the hood, it was poorly cut and tbh I'm not into carbon fiber wrap all that much.
I knew the there was a chance that the original paint was messed up, aaaaand I was right. There are 3 spots that are filled with bondo and the surrounding area is sanded down, not to metal just right passed clear coat.
The largest stretches to 10" long and 8" width with the other ones less than half that size.
The sticky in this forum says the color code is BW5 San Marino

Many places on google call the color code BW5 Twilight Blue Metallic or Twilight Blue Pearl
Whats your thought on this? I plan on buying duplicolor (or better brand) paint match to make the repairs. And if you have any tips for me to use while giving this a shot, it would be very appreciated haha.

There should be a small plaque on the firewall near the battery that will have you color code. BW5 is the color code for San Marino Blue. I think Infiniti calls the same color Twilight Blue Metallic. Are you sure you want to try repainting your hood yourself? Thinking it might be better to have a body shop do the painting.
