Default Parts for Second Storage Area

Has anyone without the Bose system converted the area behind the driver seat to another storage area.
If so please list part numbers and comment on the amount of effort needed. Does it require any drilling or cutting?

I contacted Courtesy Parts last night but they were not too helpful. Said if I knew what all parts were needed they would sell them to me but was not sure of all necessary parts or effort required.

Thanks!

contact Jeff or Jenny at performance nissan. i was trying to get just the bin. unfortunately the door and the bin are sold as a package only. i dont remember the part number but the price was $105 i believe and there is also a discount (for being from the forum i think).

as for cutting and drilling:
the bin just bolts in to a panel where the sub bracket is for the bose. i'm not exactly sure how the door is put in though.

Default Driver Storage Area

I bought a complete passenger storage assembly from a junk yard. Be sure you get the metal bracket that attaches the box from behind. I fit very nicely. I replaced my original door into the 'junk' unit (lock unit now matched) and left the door off the passenger side for quick access. The pins had to be removed to do that, but it was simple - just had to use a long punch, and carefully re-insert the pins. You may want to parallel wire the inside light to the original passenger side one, or remove the pass. one altogether. The wires will have to be lengthened.
