Default 7440 Silver (amber when lit) bulbs 27W?

Would these be an issue since the stocks bulbs are 21W? Anyone have these installed on there Z.? I know the evostyle ones are 21W but the 27W ones are much cheaper. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I would stay away from those. A lot of people had problems with their light housings getting damaged from the extra heat created by those cheapo ones. I wouldn't take the chance. Just get the EVOstyle ones, they aren't cheap but they did it right.

yeah they up the wattage to offset the light lost by the coating. not only does the bulb itself put out more heat, but more light is converted to heat by the coating.

some discoloration of the headlight has been noticed from them.

Default What about raybrig?

What about Raybrig or Polarg? I used raybrig before and they were great but pricey. Anyone have experience with those on the Z? The raybrig by far look the best in quality but I haven't put in in yet? I'm hoping I can get a set for less than $40 for 4. I know of a place locally that "may" stock the raybrig for about $10 apiece. Let me know if it's worth a try to spend the money on the raybrig.
