Has anybody else installed DEPO headlight housings in an HR? I had two mismatched housings from the previous owner that both weren't lining up with the top holes, but seem to line up with the rest mostly okay. I took them off and it turns out one was actually already a DEPO but he had painted it, and the other was something else I can't identify, but not DEPO. Neither of those brands were lining up with the top hole. I have two new DEPO housings that I am putting in anyway, and when I test fit them, they don't seem to line up with the top holes either. Is this normal?

 

Either the car was in a previous accident and/or aftermarket parts do not always fit 100% perfect. I know Depo parts are marginally off from my experiences with them with other vehicles but not to the point where it doesn't fit.

 

I returned my Depo lights and sourced OEM on line. Happy now.

 

What did you not like about your DEPOs?

 

They are inferior quality to the OEM lights made by Sylvania I think.

 

OEM are made by Kioto IIRC, the bulbs are osram/sylvania tho.
