Your critique is simply wrong-headed. You should learn to be tolerant, especially at a time when the C. Vrius is killing people all over
the country. I bit of humility would enhance your life. Sincerly,

1. It's beyond possible. It's exactly what happened. There's a big blue button in every sub forum that says "+New Thread". Start there. No one is going to help you if you're hijacking someone else's thread, on purpose or on accident.
2. Hub caps /= center caps. Hub caps (wheel covers) attach to steel rims. Center caps attach to the center of rims to cover things like the end of the axles or lug nuts.
3. Try googling "Zinik center caps".
4. Learn to be tolerant? Surely you jest. My "critique" was spot-on. I have zero empathy, zero humility, and zero tolerance... but yet, I'm still helping.

5. Things kill people all over the country daily. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Jim, those wheels are OUTSTANDING. One of my favorites on the Z33.

Ok. Looking for something to work on this weekend. Thought I would take a shot at cleaning up these track wheels I got that had some curb rash. Came out pretty decent for the worst wheel that was in pretty bad shape. I notice, it looks like these rims are painted silver with clear? Is that correct? If I just stick to the lip of the rim should be okay even though not a perfect match. You really can't see it, but 1/2 the rim had curb rash. The first pic was after I had cleaned up one area, then the 2nd picture is the long section that was pretty rough. It takes awhile to do, but I have nothing but time this weekend anyway! LOL

If you stare at the last picture you can see the color difference on the rim lip where I did not sand. It's very slight. I might just sand that portion of the lip as well and even it out for the lip of the rim at least.

This is one of the reasons I don't buy skinny tires. Once I let my boss move my car and he curbed my BBS. Took all my willpower not to strangle him (1/2 joking).
That's a nice repair Jim!

Jim,
‘totally love the build. I really like the GTC wheels that are on the car now. Very tastefully done. Congrats!

I plan on keeping both sets of wheels. Eventually these OEM Track V1 rims will have some good autocross tires on them. These wheels were purchased from a 17 year old kid who obviously was still working on his driving skills....

I’m surprised they weren’t Plasti dipped. Not sure how that ever became a thing.

Hey, a guy is selling Nismo springs. Are these the correct ones? I want the NISMO springs not the S-Nismo springs. I want to maintain the same drive height, just want the stiffer springs. Thanks.

Have him give you the VIN of the car to verify that they are correct. That's what I did

They look identical to the ones I got. Good hunting!!

He bought it from a friend and cannot verify it that way. He only wants 100 bucks for the set, so I am right on the edge of just taking a chance on them. Are there any part numbers on them or are they different in some way from the S-Nismo that you can see?

Another picture of them. Does that look odd to you on the top of the progressive springs? The way it uncoils looks "off" to me. Could just be the angle of the picture. Almost like they have been cut down?

They look identical. If you look at the front springs, they are not variable rate, but set rate springs, the coils are wound identical to the ones I have.

Look at my thread on brakes and suspension

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...t-lowered.html

scroll down to the pic of the assembled front shock and you can see it looks identical.

100 bucks? Get them. Get them NOW!!!

Go and look at them. Measure the coils. They should be exactly the same height

The 2 do appear to be cut. Usually springs are finished in a graceful loop on both ends imho.

Compare them to KBs pic, the 1 on the right has 5 complete loops, and the ends line-up. It appears 2/3 of a wind has been removed.
