car being repaired, paint ?s
hi guys, im still new to the forum, but heres my problem.
i hydroplaned on the highway doin 65 about 6 weeks ago, caused alot of damage to the tune of 17,250.00
it seems to be coming along pretty good, insurance paid for pretty much everything, even all the aftermarket stuff, i.e. wheels, body kit, exhaust, etc. heres my prob, the driver side of the car front and rear bumper had to be replaced.and that was the only part of the car that was repainted. it looks like the new paint is lighter than the rest of the car, i stopped in and took a peak at what hac been accompished soo far, would putting more clear coat on darken the paint to match up with the factory paint, its the pikes peak white flavor. im just being a little worried that after all the time and money and labor that was put into repairing my baby, its still gonna come out looking like a repair shop rape victim. its being repaired by a large nissan dealership. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.thanks
