Convertible Top Replacement
By chance does anyone know someone in the St Louis area that will replace a convertible top for a reasonable price? I got quoted at $500. I thought it was a bit crazy for the top to cost as much as the installation. Or am I wrong? Thank you in advance!

That's not a bad price for this job. I DIY at home with no helper, no experience and it took me 9 hours. It's not really hard, just a bit tedious. There is a thred here in the Roadster sub-forum with a DIY guide if you're interested.

Literally just finished mine this morning
If you have the time, it’s completely doable yourself. Took me 6 hours to do mine alone. I was getting quotes in Houston for 1200-2500 installed. Top cost me 700 and 6 hours of my unemployed time.

What replacement top did you purchase? What additional parts did you have to buy?
Due to a confluence of life events and Cornavirus, I want to finally replace my top. And, I'll do it myself thank you.
But, I want quality and everything that should be replaced done. I haven't nailed that all down yet.

StayFast Haartz canvas, not vinyl. You'll need a drill and a rivet gun, make sure to cover switches with duct tape.

I stand by the Haartz 100%. I put it on myself months ago. Quality material. Better option then that cheap looking yet overpriced hard top conversion for over $2K!!!

Hey Mark. Where did you get your price quote from? I'm looking at a used 350z that needs window replaced and figured might as well replace the whole thing. I could do myself, but not sure if I want to. I'm in O'Fallon, MO. THanks
