Hello all 2004 350z I have had this small dent and broken rear tail light since I got the car.

I finally have built up a nest egg in savings and can now modify it and fix up all the issues. How could I go about fixing this? I'm thinking new bumper and then take it to a shop. It does not look extremely bad but I will be wrapping the car satin blue soon and want to make sure all body panels are 100% good before that.

Unfortunately, you've damaged the dual wall QP on the rear of the Z. That isn't a "small dent" either, and not one a DIYer can easily repair. You'll need to get estimates from a variety of body shops, but look for one that might be able to pull that panel back into shape. Rather than just grind it down and bondo that section, or replace the section, it may be the most cost efficient.

Don't forget to mention that the rear fenders aren't bolt on, they're welded on. So you can't simply replace the fender. I would start by taking the bumper cover off to see just how bad it is. You may get lucky and just have to pull a little, but keep in mind those fenders are impact sensitive
