Default Aluminum door sills are a b#$% to get on

I just recently purchased the aluminum door sills from courtesy parts, I thought it was a simpled mod just pop the old ones out and slide the new ones in. Little did I know its very far from the truth, either its not alligned properly or I dont bench 250 lbs.
That thing is a ***** to get on, everytime u push it in I mean you have to push it in the very deepest and I had to slide my fingers under the door sill to push forward the clips so it would lock into the skirt holes.
My hands are full of cuts and blisters and I only finished ONE side of it! This is ridiculous, anybody have any helpful tips in getting the passenger side on? Am I doing it wrong because I DONT think it usually is this difficult.

Wow... ten or so minute install for me (both sides). Probably the easiest install of any aftermarket application. Make sure the clips line-up, and then make a fist and pound over each clip until you hear the 'click' sound.

So you just have them alligned and pound them in with your fist?
I was afraid of doing because when your laying it on u cant tell if they are alligned properly or not and im afraid that pounding it will break the clips right off.

Yeah, make sure that they are aligned (they should dip into the grooves slightly indicating so) and then go to work. Or you could us a rubber mallet. And don't pound them so as to cause any damage to them.
