Default Exhaust Cap for Bumper vs. Rear Bumper Fold

Two years ago I got a Tomei Expreme Ti, and the paint above it was bubbling and chipping. I got lucky this past fall I got rear ended, while I was at a red light; so lucky me I got a brand new bumper courtesy of the other drivers insurance Now I'm trying to not have it happen again. I've found a heat shield, but since it's only a single exhaust I'm looking for a cap or something of the sorts to cover the other opening so it doesn't look all wonky.

Or has anyone done both a fold with a heat shield? Wondering if I can just cut the heat shield where the fold is maybe?

Pics of exhaust and heat shield.

Those kind of shields are typically custom jobs. Find a fabricator, pick your material and get the pop riveter ready.

Lots of pics in this thread of the bumper tuck with a lot of them single exits: https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...c-request.html

I don't know about a tuck with a heat shield. That might look weird.

If you're willing to go "no tuck", Circuit Sports sells the block off cap for the other side if you run their rear diffuser:

DK that heat shield was found made by ChargeSpeed, for the OEM bumper based on their pictures.

Heel, yeah I've seen some of the bumper tucks and it looks great, and would definitely solve the issue of it looking weird with the single exit, but it's more so the paint that I'm worried about

I saw this video as a possible solution. Not sure what color your Z is, but you could try this and color match the heat shielding material so it would not be too noticeable.
