I have a 2004 roadster, when I go to push the open button for the top nothing happens - windows do not go down, passenger seat does not incline, and I can’t hear anything move. Hope someone out there has some ideas. Cheers!

 

1st thing- verify that your brake lights come on with pedal pressed. 2nd- verify you have some voltage at the convertible top switch. Gl!

 

I just checked both and the brake light comes on and there is voltage going to the convertible top switch. Do you think the top motor is fried? If so wouldn’t my windows still going down during the pre retract phase?
