Well I followed an excellent YouTube video today and attempted my first interior DIY and I’m actually very surprised and pleased with the outcomes … I’ll probably re do them again in a more controlled environment in a few weeks and take a little longer on them.
struggling to get the gear stick / leather sorted but will tackle that tomorrow … slowly slowly catch a monkey
will crack on with the stereo / satnav surround next week and then the inside of the door openers

Sanding with a much finer grit or using primer filler will get rid of the sanding marks.
yep defo less speed more haste when I re do them … the sanding paper with too course and I used primer spray in the wind rather than in the sheltered garage ….
Hydrodipping those door switch panels, or using a CF wrap are also an option. These are high touch areas and using a clear coat may also enhance durability on paint jobs.
