I am changing a lot of my exterior lights to LED. I understand that signal lights will require either resistors or replacement of the flasher to an LED flasher unit. Has anyone done the flasher unit? I wanted to know if the turn signals still click as before with the new flasher.

 

Flasher units haven't been widely used since the 90s for the most part. The turn signals are controlled by the BCM. You'll need to install load resistors to avoid the hyperflash which is triggered by LEDs.
