Default Fancy cruise relocation help

I have searched high and low and the only person that I can find that has done this is bmccannman. I have reached out to him and its been so long that he cannot remember exactly how he did it.
Now I can gather up to here (pic below) on how to do it.

What I am stuck on is the faceplate holes. how to make them look good. looking closely at the picture below I can see what I believe to be lettering underneath the bondo from the steering wheel piece so I know that I need to use it.

After that I am completely clueless on what to do. Is there a DIY or someone else out there that has done this or has the experience to help out.
Thanks

Just find a way to mount the CC assembly firmly. Then be creative. I had a plate made even though its in a different location.

Thanks for the reply. Im planning to make something similar to those plates using the old steering wheel piece. I am fairly new to working on cars and this is the first Trim/plastic work that I've done. are there any tips or tricks that you think will help me achieve better results. Also how did you attach the plate for your relocation Matt.

ahhh I had to make a bracket for the switches and spend an hour moving it slightly n tightening nonstop as it can't be too close or the bottom switch is unable to move. If you are putting it in the light assembly, just cut it to fit, make hole wires, bondo the seams, and paint.
