Greddy lip owners...question...
Ok, i have been searching for the right lip for my soon to come 350Z and i think i have an idea...I love the look of the greddy lip and even the skirts but the part that kills it for me is where the front lip goes up high in front of the wheel...makes it look too added on and bulky IMO. So to anyone with a greddy lip, after seeing the lip in person, would you think it would be possible to cut that part of the lip off before painting and installing to make it look more like the below pic i photoshoped? Of course this cutting would be done by the body shop and it would have all edges rounded off etc to make it look like it came like that. I'm just wondering if it will still attach correctly with that cut off. How does it attach anyway? If it can be cut/modded, i think i found a winner...and sorry for the quick photoshop...only had a few minutes but it should give you the idea i am going after. Thanks.

yeah i like that a whole lot better, flows with the side-skirts. rather than just go high up improportion. but then your cut is a little too low, match it with the beginning of the side-skirts would be perfect.
I was just trying to match the same edge of the lip, not line it up with the top of the skirt. I think it flows much better that way without that huge bulge by the wheel. Anyone with this lip have any info on this? I don't want to waste money and find out i can't do this...although i'm pretty sure i can find a way....just want to make sure. thanks.

I like it man. I would say there would be no compromise on the mounting, because my Cwest lip attaches pretty much the same way and it only comes up the side of the bumper as high as you have it pictured there. Plus if you have a body shop doing , they will find a way to make it stay attached. Go for it.
Thanks for the input guys...backorder...damn that sucks...didnt know about that. I think greddy does it with all the lips...my lip for my 2000 tubo civic Si (when i owned it) was on backorder...then my friends greddy lip for his prelude was on backorder...now the 350Z one...can't greddy get their act togeather and make more lol.
