Default Scraches on the plastic! interior.....

I should do a search to see if anyones asked about this before but eh Im just going to jump right into it =)

I was installing my passport 8500 lastnight and it looks like I scraped up some of the plastic right between the seats where the rear cupholders are =`( right on the flip up piece... sigh =( Im still not sure how I did it.... Im gussing when I was checking the phone cord for what was power/ground sigh.... ohwell chit happens =`(

anyways is there ANYTHING I can do to fill in the scratches? only thing I can think of would be to use some kind of putty and then paint over the piece but it will never look quite right =`(

anyways has anyone found a fix?

thanks

Default scatches

u can use a heat gun at low temp. heat until plastic shows kinda "wet" spot. this way it melts the plastic just enough to blend in. blow the heat away from frabric of seat. be very careful!!!

thanks for the reply!

so just melt the plastic and kinda hope to form it back into a nice clean piece? lol sounds scary! but a good idea at that!
I wish I could paint it with something that would not chip but anyone that has painted a cars plastic pieces knows they do not hold up =(

what kind of RC cars do you have? I have a few for sell if you're looking for some more

Tmaxx, monster priate, and a TL01

I also have a built HPI MT "tons of money into it" as with a super nitro RS4
