Do you have the metra kit or what? Would a plate like this fit OVER the metra kit, or how would you make it fit?

No, don't have any special kit. This fits squarely in the stock location. The plate is sandwiched between the stock mounting bracket and the radio. I'll have the radio out this weekend to replace my "Z" logo plate with this custom one. So, I'll have pictures for those who are interested in how it mounts.

Oh just to let you all know. The light colored lines in the stainless steel aren't really there. I have a crappy scanner that inserts those lines for me free of charge. POS HP scanner.

First pic is what I imagined it to look like. Others are obviously pics of the real thing.

Thanks.

I was driving around with it all day yesterday and found a problem however. I used a hot glue gun to attach the LED's and display to the back of the plate. That was stupid because it was hot in my car yesterday, the glue got soft and now I've got to tear my dash apart again. I guess epoxy is the next adhesive to try.
