Default Door Handle Overlays - Any Interest

Hello, I would like to see if there is any interest in having colored door handle overlays. I would like an overlay so I can change the color without painting and if desired can remove the overlay to return to stock form. Yes, they could be painted but, I'm seeking interested parties to join me in getting Blue Batmobile to make overlays. Just post your interest below. Thanks.

Blue Batmobile makes vinyl overlays that stick on with adhesive. They are very thin. He said he would try if there was enough interest. I'm not an expert, but the only problem I could see would be making the tightly curved parts look good. I am going with black rims with a polished lip and kind of a blacked out look and after photoshopping a few rims on my car it became apparent that the door handle and headlights kinda threw off that look. Also, some people have painted their door handles. I thought It would be nice to be able to remove them if you didn't like the look or wanted to return to stock without a hassle. So I'm hoping there might be some interest.

ok idea, but I dont think itd work so good in actual use.

thered always be edges that you couldnt cover, and if you tried theyd probably peel.

plus youd lose the 3 dots which are kinda cool.

I just dont think theyd last.

be better to just powder coat them, but you have to decide if you want them permanently

The three dots on each handle could not be filled by the overlay and the overlay would not conform to the depressions. The overlay would look cheap and cruddy with three air bubbles peeking thru the overlay.
On the other hand there would be no problem with peeling. The overlays adhere well!

what if the 3 dots were cut out of the overlay?? so the three dots would remain the stock silver. so the cutting would have to be exact, in order to fit. i dunno... just thinking.....

Since, there's not too much interest, I'm probably going to take a whack at it myself. I'll post something if it turns out. Or it will be just another idea for the dust bin.
