10 mins? you wish...
I took off my stock spoiler and nissan hamburger same time.
there are 2 holes behind the nissan hamburger.
if you are planning to shave off to keep it clean, you need a professional body work to fill up 2 holes and sand it down with new paint.

if you are planning to put some other Z em., you would be fine without filling 2 holes.

I have a couple of questions..

What is the procedure for removing the rear emblem? Same procedure for the front emblem? Is the front emblem fitted into a depression in the hood?

Sorry. My Z is on order and I can't run out to the garage to check out that last question.

Thanks.

The front is in a depression on the bumper.

To remove you use some fishing line to cut through the adhesive while not scratching the paint then use some adhesive remover to finish the job, the rear has two pins that go into two holes on the hatch, the front only has two little bumps on the bumper.

How far aprt are the two holes on the rear? Could they be covered up by the "Z" from the 350Z emblem?

I belive some have done that, it is about 2 inches, before getting it fixed I used the fender emblem to cover it up. Here is a pic of the holes.
