Absolutely not.

Higher kelvin HID capsules emit LESS light than stock. Plus, its a retrofit kit.. which means the optics could also be effected (in a negative way).

Cool blue lights, lower lifespan, less light output.

Acutally the blue was just from warmup. During regular driving time the light is super white. So more output

The blue is actually the 15 second charge up when you first turn em on...they become extreme white after that.

I think Importhookup claims 4300 to 5000k with these HID's. 5000 kelvins is what it could shift to eventually but 4300k is where it's really at.

I was concerned with the optics too but don't see any big difference with my Z lined up to other HID equipped Z's. It just seems a little brighter.

Of course what do I know..I don't work for ClearCorners.com maybe you can enlighten us a little more.

I got my PIAA LED's from "Options Auto Salon" or www.optauto.com

It costs $ 16.50 not a bad deal for PIAA's. I requested second day shipped for 8 bucks and it definitely got here fast!

Its not about working for my company, thats for sure.. its just about having some knowledge in automotive lighting or doing some research before you buy...

Thanks,

I'm sure alot of folks will find that link useful.

I read it pretty thoroughly before I even thought about purchasing HID's. I think you posted it somewhere else a few months ago and it was very helpful. HIDforums.com I think....provides some pretty useful info as well.

I agree that people should do some extensive research on their own before doing any modifications. Just a little word of mouth alone is not viable enough.

Okay I am going to try this again. Where can I buy 5000k HID bulbs. I already have Xenon's on my car, I want to up the color slightly. And before you say importhookup.com... I go there and it is some sort of forum system. When I click on "Lighting" on the right, I see "There have been no posts in this forum for 1000 days."
