HAVABOOZ, I saw Bats car in person, and really liked the shade of tint he had, I am a little more conservative. I might go that route
It should work. People get my chrome Overlay for the Headlights then go over it with the Smoke Tint.

thanks for the compliments...

aaaaa---you wont have a problem with the ride height on the spots you pointed at..what you have to worry about is the front...it only has 4.5 inches of clearance ...i never ever had a problem with hitting the rear or the skrts..just the front

but im assuming that your only interested in the sides...unfortunately i just put my car in my grandparents garage until next week (away for passover)...but ill glady measure when i get back...

I have a few things to say. First, your car is truly nice to look at. The kit really works well with stock rims imo. The smoked tinted headlights and the carbon fiber spoiler looks awesome with silverstone for some reason.

Anyways, a few questions.
1. Where did you get your replica body kit from and how much did you get it for.
2. What other rear bumpers might look good with the front and sideskirts? Any input from anyone would be good.

Thanks in advance

Oh and also, is this a hard color to keep clean?

Damn! I keep on thinking of stuff after looking at your car. Those are some awesome pictures. What kind of camera did you use to take those pictures?

Thanks in advance

I like the Z emblem on the back. Thats what I'm wanting to put on the back of my car (Just the Z)....I got a super-black so I don't think the one you used would show up very well. Anyone know where I could find another one that might show up better?

ok...to answer some questions

silverstone is definately one of the easier colors to keep clean..but im a clean freak and clean my car a lot...but yes..its a good choice

i bought the kit from dave @ 350zforums.org....i forgot the exact price that i paid but i know he has a good deal on them...

as for other fronts that look good im not that sure what will go well with the kit persay..the only way to answer it will be to tell you other bumpers that i like....i DONT think a front lip will be sufficient to blend in with the kit...a full bumper like vertex would be nice..i love that front end....basically find out which bumper you like and find out how much clearance it has off the ground...if it is around 4.5 inches then the height of the bumper will match with the side skirts

the camera actually isnt even that good (its just a nice car )..actually its just my dads old canon camera..any camera on the market now will be better...i like the one i use cause its easy though...

as for the emblem...the "Z" on the rear strut bar or the "Z" on the door sills is the same size as the Z i have and they are the same finish as the "350z" emblem..and it will definately show up better on super black

if that is the stock height of the car...I can't have this kit. I'm dropped 1.5-1.8inches and the added length is going to make inclines impossible. !@#$%$#@

yeh...1.8 inch drop is BRUTAL with this bumper...it seems like it would be even with the stock bumper..how much clearance do you have now...try the nismo or vertex fronts they might have more clearance

plus...fiberglass can handle scrapes just fine..its more durable than you think..but when you are that low you should think urethane to prevent cracks

i mean i dont know how the texas streets are but there are enough ups and downs here to destroy a really low car...my car actually clears speedbumps straight on (verrrrry slowly) so its not that low...but thats why i would never think of going with springs for better handling

i would just go with sways

speaking of which...are hotchkiks the best ?

I went to the web site where you got your rear emblem (lighter.net), it seems they are all the dark carbon fiber.....maybe i'm missing something but I can't see why that would show up better on a super-black. I think what i'm looking for is that same size Z emblem but silver. Anyone know where I can find one?

That kit really looks excellent. Great job and I can't wait to see it at Atco.

JerAnth I think you misread Havabooz's response. He said the carbon fiber "Z" wouldn't show up very well. As he mentioned, "the "Z" on the rear strut bar or the "Z" on the door sills is the same size as the Z i have and they are the same finish as the "350z" emblem..and it will definately show up better on super black".

Unfortunately getting the Z may require you to buy a new sill as they don't sell them separately (at least they didn't a year ago when I did this change). You may also watch for a Z that is being parted out. BTW, it does cover up the holes behind the Nissan badge.
