I got my Z in Jan 2003 and I am still making excuses to drive it. Every time I see it parked (even if I just got out of it), I have to stop and admire it. I know, I know I should get therapy -- its just a car -- but damn I love this car!

I honestly think my car is one of the hottest looking vehicles on the road. I live in a pretty upscale area and here or any part of town my car gets stares beyond belief.

I love my Z, but I think it isn't fair to compare it with some of the vehicles we are comparing it to. In any case, my short list of favs:
-AM DB9
-BMW Z8
-Ferrari 575
-Maseratti Quatroporte
-Bugatti Veyron 16.4

I have the same problems, maybe we `l get therepy together.
Right now driving my Z seems to be the only cure.
Man I LOVE this car.

"I don't like the Vette, but I do respect its power. And Z isn't the best looking car on the road... but it IS the best looking car in its class and price range."
I agree compleatly.

Aston Martin DB9. Mercedes Benz SL55. But I could buy a Z and a 911 for the price of one of those. Still....they are drop dead gorgeous. One of my customers has the SL55. Its an incredible machine. Oddly, people who aren't that car-savy think my 350 is really exotic and therefore must have cost me a small fortune. It def. has some serious curb appeal.

1 month and we stand at 55 YES and 60 NO.
When I created this poll I thought the NO's would blow away the YES's, obviously that hasn't happened. I think that speaks highly of the Z's styling. I know I love mine and even after 18 months I still get compliments almost every time I drive it.

I voted no. The most beautiful sports car, to me, will always be a 1970's - 1980's Porsche 911, widebody Turbo-tail (aka. tea-tray tail, whale tail) This IS what a beautiful sports car should be.
So . . . the relatively recent news regarding the 2005 or 2006 Porsche Boxter Coupe has excited me. Apparently Porshce will be coming out with a coupe version of their boxter. The recent "spy" photos appearing in car magazines shows a very beautiful 911ish car with two different spoilers/tails in two different pics. One is a smallish "duck-tail" type, but the other is more 911-turbo tail looking. Pricing is, of course, speculation at this point, but if they can sell these things for $40,000 - $50,000 with a 300 hp flat six, they will sell VERY WELL. Probably become the new sports car value leader.
I can post pics of anyone is interested.

Z is best of class but overall, it does not compare to the likes of the Porsche 996tt, MBZ SL65, any number of Ferraris, and Lambos. I still love the Ferrari Testarossa in its later forms and the 1989 Porsche Turbo with its voluptuous widebody. And then there are any numbr of vintage cars including the MB 300SL roadster, Porsche speedster, Jaguar E type, Austin Healys, Ferrari Daytona convertible, etc.

Well I posted NO
It is far from THE best looking car on the road. And the people who compare it to a Ferrari are silly.
This car is an everyday mans sports car. And for the money you just cant beat it.
But dont kid yourselves here.....pull up to a V12 drop top mercedes and see just how far the "My car only costs 28,300"
A quick chuckle, some tire smoke and a view of the gorgeous blonde sitting in the passenger seat is all your gonna get.
The italians design the cars that stir the passion in you when you look at their cars.
The Germans build solid looking sleek mechanical designs that have presense
The Japanese have a good mix of technology and flowing lines but Italians they are not. The NSX and FD RX7 are as close as the Japanese have come.....the Z is sleek no doubt....but even a budget Modena would win a contest at the club curb.

I can say that I think the Z is an instant classic, like 57 chevy, 55 Tbird, 63 vette... and if any of those cars were at a stoplight with me and my z, the z would get the attention.
