Default How do I remove the stock stone guards near the rear wheels?

I know this has been covered before, but since the search isn't working, I can't locate the thread.

I need to remove the stock stone guards (those clear stickers) that are located on the sideskirts near the rear wheels.

Can anyone who's done this let me know how you did it? Can I simply use a heat gun and peel it away? This seems like the most logical method to me, but I worried about possibly peeling the paint off with the stickers.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
