Default Stealth Bulbs

Not sure if you guys are still reading this thread but I spent some time on the phone with the guys at Stealth Bulbs. stealthauto.com They do have the OEM bulbs for the z in stock. They are on the way. They look mint on the site. And not many carry the 7440s. Lifetime Guarantee. What to hell! I like the clean look...

FYI

You obviously aren't actually interested in buying some bulbs for yourself because of the following two facts:

Stealthauto charges $40 for two bulbs!!!

EVOstyle charges that much for an entire set for the 350Z and they also carry a lifetime guarantee....

So, in truth, were you actually talking to yourself when you were on the phone with "stealthyauto"?

I am using APC 50.4156.b bulbs in the back, they have a chrome like coating and work well. They were cheep, found them on ebay.
I am switching the front from amber to white, here in CA it is perfectly legal to have white signal bulbs up front and it should look good too.

Actually Stealthauto IS the first company that came out with this idea.

Then came the knock-off's ... Matrix Racing, Makato, and now EvoR.

just FYI.

Jun your LED's look awesome.

Are there a FAQ on bulb size somewhere?

Front signal, rear brake, rear signal, reverse ?

For bulb sizes, just go to
www.sylvania.com and check out the bulb replacement guilde under automotive lighting.

Cary the vehicle code with you.
"It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC)."
http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

Don't go over board with super whites or bulbs with a blue tint and you should be fine.

Here is the whole code here http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc24953.htm

The thing with hyperwhites is that it will make the housing reflect blue, which is just begging for a fix it ticket.

being from the 626/909 cops out here are punks they'll just stop you if they see you going sideways up and down a driveway, i'm sure many can agree to that.

Default Thanks EvoStyle!!!!

In the process of the bulbs I broke one. This was due to the fact that I had to file down parts of the base in order for it to fit. I was pretty damn pissed since I had 3 silver bulbs and one orange one.

I contacted EvoStyle and Mark the sales manager told me that they would send me a replacement one free of charge.

That's customer service baby!!!!

Evostyle's customer service is awesome.

When I put in all 4 of mine, I scraped of and cut very little pieces in order to avoid breaking them or cutting off to much for a tight fit. I found this to work well for my install.

Let me get this straight, they replaced what you broke for free?

That's my kind of business! (Good luck for them, though)

Well technically I wouldn't have broken it if it had been a perfect fit so yeah they could have blamed me for dropping it but like I said, great customer service for shipping me a new one that was already fixed to fit.
