Default Wide Body Kits and Rims...

I've been told that rims need to somehow be modified when installing a widebody kit... such as the Veilside one, for instance, which includes the 4 over-fenders.

What exactly is this modification, and can I keep my existing wheels ? (ADR M-Sport, 19, 9.5 and 8.5 wide, +35 offset)

yah the correct way to do it is to get wider wheels. After all that's the purpose of widebody...to get more rubber to the ground.

A friend of mine has the Veilside widebody kit, with Veilside wheels. The rears are 19 x 13, and IMO the look small. Those Veilside flares are really BIG.

That look like a nice widebody kit in the making. But what size rims are you running in the back? Those tires look wayyyyyy too small for the wheels.

Dumb question... do these widebody kits replace your stock panels or are they
enhancements
to the stock panels.

I don't think I'd want to cut and weld on the stock panels but if I could replace them entirely, I may be interested in doing this (I desperately need more beef in back for the added power of the Vortech SC)

To take full advantage of the widebody, you will have to cut your fenders. If you don't cut, you run the risk of the metal fender cutting into your tire.

jesse, is that the original V3 Veilside or one of the replica kits ? It also looks like your wheels are a bit tucked... did you use spacers ?

heh, that kit makes the Z look more and more like a 911.

When is someone going to just break down and make a 911GT3 body kit for the 350z? Do the PE or Greddy TT, start with a base model. Brakes, kit, turbos, wheels, you've got a 911 turbo wannabe for about 50-60k I guess?
