Default Stillen Type1 Rear Wing Installation

Just wondering how everyone who has the Stillen wing insalled it. Did you only use the tape that it came with, or did you also drill holes in your Z and use the screws it comes with also.

Hey 1Stogie,

I just got mine installed by Ultimate Z in the Chicagoland area. They used the adhesives and drilled the holes. I would suggest doing the same, at the very least use the adhesive. The screws are not that long and I think are used just as added strength to the adhesive.

Do you plan to install it yourself?

Yeah, I had the body shop paint it and I'm going to install it myself. It's really not all that hard. The instructions tell you where to drill the holes and it takes 2 strips of adhesive. I just wasn't sure if it needed the screws. I guess with the adhesive alone, the downforce might lift the wing.
