My black 2004 enthusiast that I purchased 6 months ago is hard to mantained. I washed my car every weekend. I've never wax or polished my car before. I want to keep everything in good clean condition. Any tip on waxing and polishing my car. First time waxing Do I apply the wax after washing my car and wait for it to dry before applying the wax? Any tip will help, Thanks 350zs' drivers out there.

 

You should check the detailing forum. Be warned, that place is full of zainoholics.

Wash, dry, wax then buff out.

 

By all means- wash it first: otherwise you may end up rubbing very tiny bits of sand - not visible to the normal eye - into the finish of your auto - and cause scratches as you rub the wax/sand mixture off!
