Can someone post a link to some shift **** removal instructions?

I took my car to the dealership for an oil change, and asked if they could fix the piant on the shift **** (it was scratching and flaking off because of the ring on my finger) so they replaced the whole **** with a new one, under warranty. but when they were putting it on, they nicked the bottom of the leather AND they put it on crooked. they said they would fix it if i left my car overnight again (yeah right) so I want to straighten it myself and let them replace it again next time I get my oil changed. thanks for the help.
