I'm thinking about powder coating my Track rims to gunmetal too but my tire shop charges me $20 to mount and balance each tire.....so the entire process will cost me about $500.....still not sure if I should go for it....... but I love the look that "pearl430" had posted on the powder coated Track rim;

Can I trade up to TRACK rims? I never noticed how much better they look! If so how much to trade up to TRACK...also my one rim has a little curb rash. I tried calling you this evening but you weren't available and I'm about to leave work and wont get home till almost 9pm.

Yeah, I would be interested to know if it would be possible to do stock 17's. Don't happen to have any of those, do you Jason?

Black painted wheels? Why spend the money when U get the same color just by driving the car for a couple days? I like my Brake Dust Black color wheels.

Default Superblack

Hmmmm... still waiting to see if anyone has any pictures of either gunmetal or black powder coated rims on a SuperBlack Z. I'd like to see it before I get it done.

I hear ya...I'm thinking about hitting Jason up for the Gunmetal Touring rims...I rather spend a few bucks now and complete the look..then mega bucks next spring for wheels. I like the Touring rims anyway...just have to talk the wife into it.

Where are you located? Anywhere near SoCal? I'd love to see how it looks in person. In the meantime I think I'll photoshop some pictures and see what I can come up with. I'll post them if they are any good.

Default Photoshop'd

Well, it actually didn't take as long as I thought it would to photoshop a quick SuperBlack with Black rims.

P.S. I hope you don't mind that I used your car for the picture, Bens Z.

Hmmmm... picture didn't upload. Let me try that again. Oh There we go!

Unfortunately, I must admit that after seeing it, I don't really like the Black rims. Perhaps gunmetal would look better. Just seems TOO much black IMHO.
