I'm contemplating a CF hood. I have a dark theme going with my DB, and I think the cf will add more to it. I was either thinking of the Kaminari or Fiber Images one. Your thoughts?

Hey Bat, just received an email from Seibon. Starting next week they are supposed to be delivering again. Go for the CF, what's the worse that can happen? If you don't like it, paint it.

Go for it Bat, im doing the same with my car, CF lip gunmetal rims and i bought my CF hood today and had it installed by http://www.performancenissanparts.com/ they did it fast and the fit was perfect! Trust me you'll like the look

 

What brand is it? How much and cost of install? Fitment? Pics?

here is my siebon hood on db. fitment is bleh, but it looks great from a distance and in pictures . i would definitely wait for siebon to release thier 'new' hoods that should correct the fitment problems.

kaminari is cool....if you go with one go with a NON-oem...cause you will end up falling out of the look sooner or later and at least if you paint a non-oem style it will be diff than your stock hood

i used to love cf and i still like it but the car looks better with a painted hood

i saw the seibon hood painted on a silverstone (the one with 3 gills on each side)...and it looked really good
