Default Hole in front bumper for intake?

i remember seeing a front bumper (looked stock) with a hole cut out were the air would pass strait to a popcharger or a short intake similar to it.

Does anyone have and info on cutting that hole in your front bumper or mabey a kit for a finishing piece to make it not look so tacky?

and info would be appretiated

I saw an RX-8 with something similar. The hole was off-center which I thought took away from the symmetry and made the whole car look unbalanced, but it might not look so bad on a Z....

that is a bit scary i would think. what happens when it rains hard and you are driving on the freeway? the rain will fly right into the air filter.

i dont know a conversion kit off hand...but im sure they make one somewhere..Either way, if your going to go thru the trouble of cutting you would have to mold the front anyway. So i dont think it would look sooo tacky. As a last resort you could buy the greddy front bumper. I think it would allow for a nice ram air setup. You could probably make a plug for rain days.

A little rain wont hurt the intake. As long as the filter is not submerged it will be fine. An engine can handle a little water. Dont forget, A by product of combustion is water!

Both the INGS and C-West bumpers have holes in them.
