Anyone know if carexcess does the 90 degree doors as well? All I've seen from them is 45 degrees.

If they do 90 degree, I'd be very interested...I'm not too far from them...here in Bradenton.

jc,

Do the same people still work at Car Excess? Jerry, Kelly, Ian?

Great group of people, but I haven't spoken with them in quite a while...wanted to have a production-ready product in hand before wasting too much of their time.

From that video, it looks like you have enough room to use the doors normally for everyday, but could raise them up for shows.

Once your sitting in the car, it looks like it would be really ackward to lower the door before you close it.

Anyone actually have this mod that wants to coment on living with it?

I haven't gotton one yet but I'm seriously looking at picking up the vision or decah kit. Let me know if you want to try for a group buy or something too. My company has a license for automotive retail so maybe we can set that up.

thanks a lot. how much less would it be if we purchased together? because in extremedimensions it's like $1800. it's installed in 2 hrs and it has a complete manual. I can do installation myself...no worries...

it is possible to get in and out of the car without going lambo. the opening is just wide enough. some say a bit tight, but its enough.

closing the doors lambo style from a seated position: it does take some getting used to, but its easily done. just be sure not to slam the door down, its bad for the hinges.

opening the doors lambo style from a seated position: it is possible. just make sure your lift point is as far back on the door as possible to give you more leverage. other then that, its a good workout.
