Thumbs up Installed Z Sport Horns (Pics, Vid)

I ordered the Z Sport Horns from Performance Nissan and they arrived today via UPS. First off, this was my first time dealing with Performance and I'll have to give them a good report. I lost my UPS tracking number after reformatting my HD and they helped me get it back with quick, friendly service - that aside from the painless ordering and shipping of the horns at the best price I could find anywhere. Well deserved praise.

Now, for the good stuff: Before ordering I searched for comments on someone who had installed and didn't find any; I was curious whether or not anyone had to remove the front bumper for installation. Luckioly I was able to do without removing and installed them with relative ease. The pain of bending my arm for the one hard to reach horn was well worth not having to take the bumper off.

I tired a number of combinations of Sport & OEM horns to see how it would sound, but the two sport horns sound best together. I love the sound, different and exotic-sounding.

I have some pictures at http://users.adelphia.net/~morrisfs/ as well as a little clip of the sound when the vehicle is locked. I figured most of you already know what they sound like. Too bad they are not more visible, they match CS very well

I'm glad it could help. I didn't record a long sound clip of the horn just to keep from being redundant. There was one video clip floating around of a guy with a Daytona Blue Z of the horns. Performance Nissan also has a video clip of the horn honking. You can get a better idea there than from my clip:

Sorry to sound like such a Performance Nissan advocate, I'm not associated.

Nah it's fine, Performance Nissan has great products and customer service from what I hear. And thanks for the link to the other sound clip.
