Someone take it off and tell me what happens because mine has a little peeling all along the length of it and it looks bad. I dont want to take it off though because Im scared that it would look worse. I know my friends Neon has something just like it.

That is a paint protectant film similar to the 3M clear bra. It is on the front edge of the rear wheel well since that area sticks out a little bit and is susceptable to stone chips from stuff coming off of the front wheels. Probably not needed if you have splash guards. My neighbor has the same thing at the same place on his G35. My roadster also has this on the tonneau cover where the convertible tops sits when it is in the up position.

If it is peeling off you might want to replace it. Anyplace that installs the clear bras should be able to put a new piece on. Wonder if that is a part that is available from Nissan. I plan to have a professional installer do the clear bra on my car but that little piece should be a do-it-yourself job.

If you haven't yet located a clear bra specialist, I suggest going with Jeremy at Invisigard in Santa Rosa. He's done a lot of Bay Area board member's Z's... if you want to PM him for more info, his user name here is krinkov
