Default Anyone know of a nice urethane lip available for under $200???

Hi folks.
I am ready to finish the cosmetic aspect of my car. A lady barely dinged my rear bumper and her insurance gave me $600.
I was going to do Stillen integrated rear wing and the GReddy Lip.

The GReddy lip looked good and was only 185 @ Hopup racing. However Steve tells me that they are back ordered up the a$$ and there is no way I am getting one inside of 6 months.

So Help me out guys. Where can I get a nice urethane lip that is 200 or under and what kind should it be?

It has to be subtle. For example, that Evo R wing is too much for me.

Advice???

Veilside 1 Julien, but they run close to $300. Check the For Sale Forum.

Andy I can get a whole new FRP Nismo Bumper for 245$!!!

There is no way I am spending more than $200 on a lip. I would rather buy the whole bumper.

Ha ha. The point is that I would like to keep the durability of a urethane bumper. I cant stand the thought of some octogenarian bashing my FRP bumper trying to park. So if there are any options around 200$ let me know!!!!

PS. Didnt mean to come off as rude Andy! Sorry if I did.

my only thoughts on the situation. REmember this is a $27-35K car. I am not sure you wanna put the cheapist aftermarket parts on there just to make it different than stock. I say either wait til you get what you wanted in the 1st place or maybe reconsider spending a little more.

good luck

Dude this is a urethane lip I am looking for here.

When it comes to wheels I will shell out the 700 or so per wheel, but it does not cost a tremendous amount of money to stamp out a urethane lip

I dont think I am wrong in expectingto find something at around 200$

Hey Julien,

I'm guessing you factored in the cost of painting the lip too? So a 200 dollar lip will run you a little over 350 after everything is painted and mounted.

There might be a CF alternative in that 350+ price range but you probably don't want to deal with the rigidity and crack factor. Good foresight on the urethane though. My lip kisses the blacktop more than once a month and that flex definitely is a plus.

If you don't mind my opinion, I think the Greddy Gracer lips look beautiful on black cars because they blend well. (seen them in person). It might be stretch but I suggest calling up places and posting up and down these forums. SOMEONE'S gotta have it ...or is letting it go!

Good luck.

The only option I think you have is Wings West front air dam in urethane. Its sells for about $190 for the lip.

Looks like one of those lips that might need sideskirts or it'll not look too balanced.

With a dark ride you'll probably get away with it.

Besides the low angle on the WW pic above makes it look like it's sticking forward more than it should.

Looking forward to seeing the results. Post pics!
