question/request - mesh sidemarkers

i was wondering if anyone had tried putting wire mesh (i.e stillen front grill) where the sidemarkers go instead of putting in the smoked ones? i think that this would look pretty nice and easily done? thanks

someone did, he painted the mesh black as well. did look pretty good.

Might have been mine...

I used wire mesh gutter screens from Lowes with marine Goop. Paint is a marine grade urethane.
