Default Mount spoiler without template?

I am dropping my spoiler off (veilside v2) soon for paint and mounting. But i am just curious how they are going to get the holes drilled without a template? Had anyone else had this problem?

I think it uses the factory holes, but I dont have the factory spoiler.

Any input is appreciated. As a last resort, I can make a fiberglass template and give to them .

I made a template myself for my nismo spoiler. Not hard at all actually. Give me a shout if you need to know how.

I got my v2 mounted without using a template. They used little black strips of plastic as hole markers. These strips had pegs with holes in the center of them. They put these pegs in the holes of the spoiler and set it on the car where it is to be mounted. They taped the ends of the strips to the hatch and took off the spoiler, leaving the strips. The pegs with the holes in them now show exactly where they need to drill. They then drilled through the peg holes in the strips. This ensures perfect hole placement. THis is hard to describe but I hope it helped.

why would you drop off your spoiler for paint and install if you have no confidence in the body shop? this is what they do for a living. i am sure it will turn out just fine.
