Default Lip Scraping

I'm trying to decide what kit to buy and was wondering of the people who have front lips how often do you scrape? I like the Veilside v1. It very subtle in looks, not overly agressive.

If you are going to get a lip spoiler, I highly recommend a polyurethane or an ABS one. Even though most of them don't go much lower than the stock bumper, they usually extend out by a few inches making your entry angle less steep. I'm probably over cautious coming into driveways and speed bumps. I've only scraped once (knock on wood) on a low parking block but if I had a fiberglass or carbon fiber spoiler it would have been history.

If your interested I am selling my V1 urethane kit, its painted silverstone and in good condition, but you will have to replace the 3M tape on the pieces. The kit doesn't sit that low so as long as you are careful you shouldn't have any problems. Heres a picture of the kit on my car with a 1.5 inch drop. I'm asking $700 for the set without shipping.

I paid $280 shipped which was a great deal from mvpmotorsports.com
The price on the lip has increased though.
Nice pics dave...

How do you like the lip?
Looks like a great paint match.

I swear it looks exactly like my car a couple months ago.

I have scraped my Veilside C.F lip several times on my drive way but got no damage on the lip. Just got little scratches under the lip but who sees it?
If you are careful and don't lower the car too much you should be fine most times.

At stock height i RARELY scratch my lip but on some occassions i'll scrape it coming out of a really steep driveway.

It's funny because passengers in my car will be like !!

I'll be like "Don't worry...Wanna see me do it again!?"

It's urethane...no problems here. The paint underneath the lip is going to get scratched no matter what...it's inevitable. Suprising thing is the lip flexes so the the ground just rides along the clear coat. I've looked under and haven't seen any paint scratches yet.
