ColecatZ - I am just afraid that she will look unfinished is she is wingless. I should have a better idea once she is painted. Plus I will ask you guys for your thoughts. data systems is on my short list.

I will definately post more pics soon. They are supposed to paint it today but they are having a hard time figuring out what the heck to do with the gas cap. The fenders prevent it from opening normally. There are so few V3 wide body kits out there that they r having to figure out thing like this as they go a long.

great looking so far...the version 3 kit is a very "busy looking" kit...black cars usually hide the lines of a kit and in this case its perfect...ive seen this kit on a black car and IMO its the best color for it

i agree with colecatz...no wing..or very subtle wing...the version 1 or version 3 wing will make the car look too much like a show car and not very practical for every day driving...even if it is a show car do something different and dont put such a big wing

Sweet, another veilside fan..even though I'm switching to top secret As far as a wing, you should decide that for yourself, don't go off of what other people tell you, because some people will like it with or without a wing. Remember its your ride not ours, so let your mind run free. We will pass you ideas, some you may like and some you will not Can't wait to see it when its done.

i dont like that wing personally but rayden is right, it would look great with the V3 kit!! just as he mentioned, your going to get opinions thrown like mad but the ultimate choice is yours. and, theres nothing wrong with opinions, sometimes they can helpful!

I am hoping to have the car back this week. So pics will be coming. They are ordering the tires and the paint should be done by now.

You think the wait is killing you ... I haven't driven my Z since the wreck in Feb (Some chick pulled out on me and I T-bone the hell out of her. The repairs to the car (her insurance) along with some sponsorship (tuner supply shop) is paying for most of this. SO I guess I kind made lemonade out of some really messed up lemons.) This wait is killing me.

I just ordered some new subs and am looking for a decent price on some infinity Kappa perfect or mb quartz components.

I also need a new exhaust with longer tips than stock. I think the new enjen straight tips might do the trick.

hndumafia - tried to do the Kappa deal but discount jungle doesn't have them anymore (I guess). I am thinking about trying ebay. Saw some for $200 shipped 99% pos. seller since 2001

I have the top of the line MTX 10" sub (thunder 8000 or something like that. The stainless finish matched the Z well) and the BOOZ sys now. The sub is amazing with the D class amp. But the bose is horrible and I am exploring an new deck with a LCD/DVD/PS2 Head unit combo. We will see how that pans out.

The car has been painted and they wet sanded it on yesterday. The CF seibon hood will be installed and I will be picking the car up on Friday. I am taking the wheels and tires to get mounted and balanced tomorrow.

After I see the fitment I may order spacers. I ordered my injen SES straight tip exhaust from Bryan Young at 350zolinestore.com (good man, very helpful) and hope to install it this weekend.

AS FOR THE WING!

everyone that sees the car in person immediately says "it really needs a wing" These pics on line really do not do these kits justice. They look 100% better inperson. The kit doesn't look as outrageous and a lot more suttle. I imagine the wing may have a similar affect. STILL DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE WING for now (not to mention I am broke
