Default HELP -- matching OEM DB paint

I have to paint a fiberglass hood from Stillen. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the OEM Daytona Blue paint?

Or, if any of you had to paint the hood, what did you do? Color-match? Other?...

Thanks.

there is no db paint. it's a formula that the painter will use to mix the color, the color is pretty tough to match perfectly, especially if you only paint the hood ... i would probably get the painter to blend the paint down onto the bumper, fenders, a pillars.

who is going to paint it for you>

Pinnacle, right next to SGP, where I'm getting my mods installed. Spoke to Mark, he gave me the same answer, just verifying here as well (does not hurt to ask around)...

Thanks.

[EDIT] Paint code is B17, if it is worth anything. One can buy touch-up paint from perf Z...

I used the following link to get lemans sunset and sileverstone to paint engine cover, battery and brake fluid covers, the match was pretty good but I don't know how exact it would be to paint actual body parts without blending. They even ask for VIN for correct color formulation. Prices are as follows:

12.5 oz spray can - $29.95
1 pint - $80.00
1 quart - $115.00
1 gallon - $291.00

Of course clear coat and Flex additive are extras

Hope this helps...
