Andy, thanks for taking one for the team. You da man....
This is a mod that I will be doing after I decide which body kit to go with.
I e-mailed Aspect. We'll see what happens.
Their kit says it is the "direct bolt on" kit but that the "inner fenders" have to be rolled.
Can someone explain what this means to me again. Also, does anyone have pics of WHAT needs to be "rolled" and pics of one that was "rolled"?
Thanks

I just got this reply from Aspect Motorsports.
"Thank you for your interest in our company! We have the lowest price
guaranteed right now for the Vertical Doors, Inc direct bolt-on kit for the
350z, but if you can get between 6- 10 or more people in your group buy,
and we can go $1,115.00 + Free Shipping (FedEx)"
So what do you all think? I don't think we are going to do any better on the price.
Anyone know any others out there?

So are you referring to the part where I put the red arrows?
Are you saying this piece previously extended over to where I have the red dotted line and to make the kit fit, you cut it back to the red arrows?
Sorry for all the ?'s but I am a NEWB on this stuff.

Yes
.
Yes.
.
It is okay. Cutting your car with a saw is something to think about.
.
You might be able to roll or bend the metal here. I decided to cut it instead.

Bonz... put me down as the second on this list.
Also, due to the cost of this item (even at the group buy price), I'm asking that you don't add your name to the list unless...
1 - You are absolutely sure you want to do this mod
and
2 - You have the funds available to make the purchase.
Bonz... would you mind contacting Aspect Motorsports and working out two deadlines? The first for us to have our list of buyers and a second for when those buyers have to complete the transaction by.
As I have already stated, if I do this, I want it on my z by the end of July. At $1115, I will definitely buy the kit within the next 2-3 weeks.

It is the VERTICAL DOORS KIT and it is supposedly a VERY good quality kit. See the posts above this one for the pics and descriptions.
