Default Z's with FMIC

Ive come to a little problem while installing my FMIC. i want to take off the original grill on the front bumper but its molded in with the fascia, all you guys with FMIC's that have them exposed, how did you get rid of the OEM grill? if you had to cut, how did you do it? Thanks in advance!

If you are doing it with the bumper on, becareful of the area around where the tow hook goes(top middle).. There is a wire close behind there somewhere.. might be an air bag sensor?
