I am trying to install a Seibon cf hood on my roadster and am having trouble with the strutbar. It appearse the strutbar hits the center of the hood, not letting it shut completely. Is there a way to fix this without removing the strutbar or cutting the hood?

Has anyone else run into this problem?

My car is at Evolution until the meet on the 10th, doing some final touches. The hood is the VS model, but we are also having trouble with a Seibon TS hood on another Z. How you been Ricky, I think you have the same hood I'm trying to install. What did you do with your strutbar? I have the Greddy strutbar but it looks the same size as stock. Anyone know what to do?

 

I had the same problem with my hood, I just changed strutbars (stillen)

 

raise the latch. my strutbar rubs on the hood, but it still closes fine.
