Default What did I do wrong?!

I have a base model Z 2004 and i went through the wheel wells to swap headlights for some syvlania hyperwhite type lights. After that was done the lights worked fine and i went driving at night... the lights looked fine till i got on a street with no lights and i couldn't see a thing!! it was like most of the light on both sides were pointing to the ground off to the side a bit. I put the bulb in straight (i think) so i dont know whats wrong anyone have any idea? thanks
michael

Different brand bulbs are created different. So if you take off the stock ones and put a different brand (especially none popular brands) they tend to point different angles. But if you put back your stock ones, the beams went back to the OE spec.
