Default passenger seat removal

I've searched and searched , couldnt find my answer , and I need it fast ... I want to remove my passenger's seat in my touring w/airbag , since im going to the track tomorrow and want to save some weight... I know I will get the airbag light flashing , but is it safe to drive around with that light on for a day or two ?
Im thinking yes but want to check with the gurus first
thanks...

You should probably PM Phatmitzu. He installed a Bride racing seat himself so I'd assume he had to take the seat out

yes it is fine to drive with the light on for a couple days. when i first picked up my car the light was on because my car had leather seats installed at the dealership and they were dumb and didn't turn the light off. and then i removed my seats when doing audio install and got excited when i finished installing everything and turned it on to listen before i reinstalled the seats. no problems at all. just take it to the dealership and it takes them no more then a couple minutes to turn it off.
