I recommend poly-primer...i think its a primer for plastics, supposed to bond a bit better if u plan on painting it. Thats what they used on mine.

Been working on my custom dash whenever I get some free time, I'm still fiberglassing the upper dash, but I'm just about done with the lower.
God knows some of ya'll are killing my inner child.

I'm kinda stuck right now, creatively anyway. I'm trying to find the best place to put my XM receiver.

I think I've found what I'm happy with though, when I get past this block and start working again I'll post pics.

Bebopin Spike-
Ive been doing some fiberglassing myself. I was wondering if you are using a dust mask or a respirator? The fumes get pretty funky even outside.

I have an extra center console, and i am considering using it as a core swap to paint consoles for people. Is there any interest? I would paint this console, and send it to who wants it for XX$ then they would send me their console. and the process would continue.

Let me know if there is interest.

toykilla, I was actually about to PM you about your dash when I saw your most recent post. I would be VERY interested in a dash swap. I'd love to get one painted a silver that would closely match the existing aluminum-look trim. Please PM me and maybe we can work out some details.
